Has the library changed your life?

We hope so! Woman's Day magazine and the American Library Association are sponsoring an essay contest How has the library changed your life?. The tricky part (for me at least) would be to say what the library has done for you/meant to you in 700 words or less. Four winning entries will be published in the magazine.
