ACPL Online Book Club
We have an online book club! You can suggest titles to discuss, post a comment, read others' comments, find out what others are reading, and do just about everything that you can do in a face-to-face book club ... except meet face-to-face. Plus you provide your own snacks. ;-)
The ACPL Online Book Club is always open - you can discuss a book on your own schedule. There are a variety of discussions , including topics for classics, Young Adult fiction, non-fiction, and more. Join in!

I'm looking forward to picking a book to read with everyone else. Will the book picked get extra copies in?
It depends. To this point, we have not experienced greatly increased demand for a book that is being discussed on the ACPL Book Club; however, if we start seeing multiple requests (including holds) for books that are being discussed there, it's very likely that we would purchase extra copies to meet the demand.
Part of the reason we haven't seen that kind of increase is that the online book club has started slowly. If more people participate, it could easily drive choices we make about purchasing multiple copies.
