Keep your books for 6 weeks!

Several people have expressed concern about the Main Library closing from January 8- January 26. They've wondered, "Whatever will I do without the library?" Besides the fact that all of our 13 branch locations will still be open and ready to serve you, all locations are also now offering a 6-week check out period for items that usually check out for 3 weeks. So now's the time to stock up on reading material, audiobooks, and music CDs to help while away those few (and presumably cold) winter days when you won't want to head out anyway. Items checked out and/or renewed now won't be due back until after the Main Library reopens at 900 Library Plaza. So be sure to come visit us from now until January 7 and get your "home library" stocked for those few weeks we are closed.
